International Yoga Day Seminar at Ketabkade Gheseh va Afsaneh
Another seminar on International Yoga Day, led by Ghazaleh Adampour, was held in Kanon Yoga (now Ketabkade Gheseh va Afsaneh) in the spring of 2021. This event provided a great opportunity for yoga enthusiasts to not only learn about the philosophy and principles of yoga but also to experience its positive effects on both the body and mind.
This seminar followed the one held the previous year at the same venue, which featured the unveiling of the book Yoga for Children. At that time, Ghazaleh Adampour introduced the book and emphasized the importance of teaching yoga to children and its impact on their physical and mental development. Continuing this initiative in 2021, she organized another event, highlighting the role of yoga in daily life and its benefits for all age groups, including both adults and children.
During this seminar, Ghazaleh Adampour provided a brief yet accessible introduction to the philosophy of yoga, its effects on mental and physical health, and its role in creating balance in personal life. She also shared valuable insights on yoga practices and their use in reducing stress and enhancing concentration. Participants benefited from both theoretical discussions and hands-on yoga exercises, allowing them to experience moments of inner peace and balance.
The active participation of teenage students from Viveka added a unique humanistic touch to the event. While lectures were held for instructors, parents, and enthusiasts, children and teenagers engaged in multiple yoga-based games and activities, familiarizing themselves with various postures and exercises while enjoying the experience.
Ketabkade Gheseh va Afsaneh, formerly known as Kanon Yoga, continues to serve as a cultural center for promoting yoga and a healthy lifestyle through various educational and cultural events. With a mission to raise public awareness, this space provides an ideal environment for experience-sharing and learning, allowing enthusiasts to continuously benefit from yoga in their daily lives.
