Bihar School of Yoga, founded in India by Swami Satyananda Saraswati and influenced by the teachings of Swami Sivananda Saraswati, is managed today by Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati, a disciple of Swami Satyananda. The Bihar School of Yoga and Bihar Yoga Bharati is recognized as one of the key centers for the development of yoga and the enhancement of human consciousness globally.
Established over fifty years ago, this institution not only preserves ancient yoga traditions but also offers modern techniques to adapt to contemporary life.
Bihar Publications, as part of this institution, is highly active in providing accurate and authoritative yoga texts and publishes books on yoga that are written in modern language and understandable for everyone. These books are used as primary resources in yoga universities worldwide and play a significant role in the development of yoga knowledge internationally.
The book “Yoga Education for Children” is one of the specialized publications of this institute, written by a group of distinguished Bihar professors and compiled with the insight of Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati. It has been translated into Persian by Ghazaleh Adampour, who is an alumna of the Bihar School of Yoga. She has added a chapter at the end of the book sharing some of her experiences working with children. The Translated version has been Published by Soura Publications in Iran, the book quickly reached its second print. “Yoga Education for Children” serves as a valuable resource for teaching yoga to children, helping parents and educators effectively introduce children to the world of yoga. Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (SVYASA) is a prominent center for yoga research and education, established with the aim of integrating modern science and ancient yoga wisdom. Located in the heart of India, this university focuses on promoting yoga as a scientific approach to improving health and quality of life. The management of this university is overseen by Dr. Nagendra, a pioneer in yoga research. Dr. Nagendra, who has also served as a yoga advisor to the Government of India, has made significant efforts to promote and elevate yoga at national and international levels.
Ghazaleh Adampour has been active in this dynamic research environment, which has substantially contributed to her knowledge and skills in the field of yoga. SVYASA serves as a scientific and research center, creating extensive opportunities for acquiring knowledge and experience in yoga and related sciences.
The International Yoga Alliance, managed by Swami Vidyananda, is recognized as the first Yoga Alliance center in India. This institution advances yoga globally through international collaborations, and Viveka Yoga Academy is proud to be part of these collaborations.
In recognition of her deep expertise and commitment to teaching yoga to children, Ghazaleh Adampour has received the title of “Grand Master of Children’s Yoga” from the International Yoga Alliance and she is also the [5]ambassador of International Yoga alliance in Iran. This honor not only recognizes her efforts to enhance the health and awareness of children through yoga but also affirms the quality of education and her commitment to advancing this field.
The International Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher Training Institute, led by Gopala Amir Yaffa, is recognized as one of the most prominent centers for training children’s yoga instructors worldwide. This institute adopts an innovative approach to teaching yoga to children, emphasizing the use of games and fun activities as part of the educational process, creating a joyful and engaging learning environment for children. This approach makes Rainbow Yoga a valuable partner for any institution seeking to promote yoga in an attractive and effective manner. The Rainbow Yoga children’s instructor training courses have been translated into Persian, and Ghazaleh Adampour is one of the facilitators of these offline courses in Iran. We are proud to say that many of Iranian yoga instructors, who are now active both in Iran and internationally, have completed their Rainbow Yoga teacher training course under the supervision of Ghazaleh Adampour and received their certifications.
